Winter Solstice Retreat

December 18–20, 2026 | Wisconsin (Exact location will be given after sign-up, but either Baraboo or Viroqua area)

A weekend to slow down, reconnect with yourself, release what you're ready to leave behind, and welcome a new season with intention.

As the days grow shorter and the natural world turns inward, winter invites us to do the same. To pause. To rest. To reflect. To reconnect with what truly matters.

Join us for an intimate three-day Winter Solstice retreat surrounded by the peaceful beauty of nature in Wisconsin.

Through meditation, somatic practices, cacao, hape tobacco ceremony, spiritual rituals, nature connection, and meaningful time together, we'll create space to honor the past, reconnect with ourselves, and welcome the returning light.

A sacred pause. A time for renewal. An opportunity to return to yourself.

Limited to just 6 people

Imagine spending three days surrounded by the stillness of winter, away from the demands of everyday life...

A space to slow down, reconnect with your body, release what you're ready to leave behind, and welcome a new season with intention.
Through meditation, somatic practices, cacao, ritual, nature immersion, and meaningful connection with other friends, we'll honor the turning of the seasons and create space for renewal.
A small, intimate Winter Solstice retreat in Wisconsin.
The winter solstice marks the longest night of the year and also the return of the light. This is such a beautiful time of year and I'm honored to hold space for this retreat.
The intention of this retreats is to allow you a space to take a pause from your daily life, connect with friends, Nature, and bask in the sweet energies of this time of year. I will hold ceremonies to honor the Earth, pray for healing, release old energies and pains, and cultivate the inner light within us all.
I am imagining snowy days, warm fires, cozy drinks, connection with our guiding spirits, mother Earth, and soul-nourishing ceremonies in a kind community of friends.

Testimonials:

Kirsten

"Never in my life have I felt so held in a ceremony than I did with Katie. Soo intuitive, so kind and caring, I truly felt like she was really actually blessing me with her words, actions, touch, and space holding. It was like a kind of mothering in a way that I’ve needed my entire life.
The songs, the changing up of instruments, the fire keeping; so so so beautiful. Forever grateful. I deeply needed this.
And the scenery; the way Ecuador and all its animals hold you is nothing like I’ve ever experienced in my life. So beautiful so grateful🙏"

Yasmin

"I went into this journey not knowing what I was truly stepping into. All I knew was that I was open - open to receive whatever the universe had waiting for me.
Katie is exceptionally amazing on what she does. She’s so soft she makes you feel safe and seen the whole entire time.
This experience changed me in ways words can barely explain. It reminded me to slow down, to trust the path unfolding before me, and to reconnect with myself on a deeper spiritual level.
If you’re looking for a transformation, I highly suggest a retreat"

Bec

"This was my first ceremony with Katie and with San Pedro. A beautiful and gentle experience that brought a clear message and confirmation, and a much needed release was facilitated through a cleansing. Katie created a warm a safe space for everyone - her energy is so bright and gentle. The ceremony was beautiful - from the fire to the music, and, of course, the medicine. My experience was gentle and I felt much lighter the next day. The group was small and felt very comfortable - beautiful, kind, caring and compassionate souls came together to heal. The setting and accomodations were great and we even had our very own frog symphony! I am hoping to do another ceremony soon and highly recommend Katie."

Working with Hapé (participation is optional):
Hapé (also spelled rapé) is a traditional plant medicine, commonly made from powdered tobacco and other plant materials and administered through the nostrils. Tobacco is considered a sacred plant used in prayer, purification, protection, and connection with Spirit. This Tobacco comes from the area where I live in Ecuador in the Andes.
Through my seven years of working alongside traditional curanderos in Ecuador, I've learned to work with sacred plant medicines such as Hapé. In Ecuador, tobacco is often spoken of as a medicine that cleanses and strengthens us.
In ceremonial practice, Hapé is traditionally associated with grounding, energetic cleansing, strengthening intention, and deepening spiritual connection. Some people also describe experiences of opening the third eye or becoming more receptive to spiritual messages. Experiences vary.

Health and safety
Hapé contains tobacco and nicotine, which can raise heart rate and blood pressure, and cause nausea or dizziness.
Occassionally people might vomit - this is seen as negative energy being expelled.
Please do not participate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have uncontrolled high blood pressure or significant heart disease, have a history of seizures or serious reactions to nicotine, have a known allergy to the blend, or have active nasal problems or recent nasal surgery.
If you take medication or have a significant medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional beforehand. Please share relevant health concerns privately before the event.
Participation is entirely optional. You are welcome to join the prayers, songs, reflection, and ancestral remembrance without receiving Hapé. There is no pressure to participate in any practice, and you may pause or step away at any time.
