Allpa Mama Healing

Allpa Mama (Mother Earth) Healing in Ecuador
Who am I? Why are we here in life? What is my purpose? What happens after death? Is God real?
These are the questions that set me off on this path of sacred plants and curanderismo. We search beyond ourselves -- for peace, for love, for acceptance. All of this is within ourselves. All the peace, the love, the answers to these questions -- are within. The greatest gift of my life has been the plant medicines. They reminded me who I am: that I am a sacred child in the Universe, a child of the Earth. They ignited a flame within me, one that I want to share with the world.Â
We live in trying times, as have always existed in the history of humanity. The medicines once showed me in a vision that there is one war, one struggle, one source of suffering, that has existed since the beginning of time - and that is the separation we experience - the separation from Spirit. That is what's so beautiful and magical about the medicines - they remind us of our connection with everything. There is really no separation. All we have to do is connect with our heart, quiet the mind, and let this Universal Life Force energy flow through us, and anything can heal.Â
I work with the sacred medicine, Grandfather San Pedro (Huachuma), and work with several other experienced shamans from the Andes and Amazon of Ecuador, who work with Ayahuasca, Wilka, and offer traditional healing work and rituals. Our retreats combine the wisdom of the indigenous peoples' of this beautiful country, with the naturally powerful healing energy of the apus (sacred mountains, lagoons), as well as techniques aimed to help open our awareness, such as educational workshops, meditation, yoga, and energy healing work.
We have a maximum of 6 guests in our retreats, and offer 1:1Â and couples retreats as well. We get to know each other very personally, and the goal of our retreats is to come together like family.
For those who want to continue their healing work on their own, I have created powerful, transformative online courses, channelled through me with the help of the medicines, to help you connect with your spirit, bring awareness to your life and behaviors in new ways, and create more light, healing and peace in your life.
As part of the Andean perspective of "ayni" or sacred reciprocity, a percent of the profits goes towards the reforestation of sacred plants in southern Ecuador.
We look foward to welcoming you into our family!

Katie
Founder + San Pedro Ceremonialist
Founder of this center, a spiritual medicine guide, and ceremonialist of Wachuma, San Pedro. Born in the US, she has been walking the spiritual path for 8 years and holding space in ceremonies and retreats for 6 years. She has studied under the guidance of her partner Miguel, as well as with Mama Mercedes, an indigenous Kichwa Andean healer and midwife. Her role at the healing center is to lead, guide, and empower people to reconnect with themselves, Spirit and Mother Earth.
She holds space and serves San Pedro medicine, supporting the healing process of visitors. With a loving, gentle, and compassionate nature, her wish is for everyone to experience the magic of love and self-healing through different elements, including sacred plants.

Taita Miguel
Curandero
Taita Miguel was born in Cuenca, Ecuador and at an early age his perception of spirits were awakened.Â
He first learned to work with Huachuma (San Pedro) from taitas of the Andes, and he credits this medicine to saving his life. After this he was introduced to Mama Wilka by a shaman from the North of Bolivia, and was initiated in this almost-lost Inkan tradition. He learned to work with Ayahuasca from several respected Shuar shamans in the jungle of Gualaquiza.
He has 28 years of experience holding ceremonies with the medicines. For the first 10 years, he offered free ceremonies to Ecuadorians.
Miguel also now has begun offering apprenticeship trainings to students from around the world.

Mama Merecedes
Curandera + Traditional Midwife
Mama Mercedes is an indigenous ancestral medicine healer from Imbabura Province, near Otavalo. Since she was a young girl, she began working with her special gifts, learning from her grandmother how to work with herbal medicines, traditional midwifery, and energy healing. She has the unique ability to be able to see the problems and illnesses of others, and cures these issues with plants, massage, and energy cleansings and rituals in sacred lagoons and waterfalls. She was elected president of the traditional midwifery organization of Otavalo and is a leader in the indigenous community. She is a woman of wisdom with a big heart and a great laugh.

Taita Germán
Curandero
Taita Germán is an indigenous Shuar healer who works with Ayahuasca, from Gualaquiza, in the Amazon of Ecuador. He comes from a family of shamans, learning from his uncle and cousins how to heal with Ayahuasca, after a difficult spiritual awakening in his younger years. The Shuars are famous for being the warriors of the jungle, and are fierce, excellent healers. Though tough, Taita Germán is wonderful and down to earth with a wealth of knowledge to share. He has travelled the world, sharing his medicine and healing, and is well-known in Ecuador. We are lucky to have him for our ceremonies. Taita Germán was one of Miguel's teachers with Ayahuasca.
