San Pedrito, Huachuma, Aguacolla

San Pedro, also known as Huachuma or Aguacolla, is often seen as a grandfatherly spirit. The name San Pedro was given by the Spanish after the Apostle Peter, because he holds the keys to the kingdom of heaven. This plant has been used for thousands of years in the Andes for healing, vision, and spiritual awakening. He opens the heart, quiets the mind, and connects you deeply to nature, your soul, and the divine. He opens our energy channels so that we can see our life in a different way, and positive spirits and energies can come in to work and heal physical, mental and spiritual health imbalances and illnesses.

San Pedro gently guides you to release emotional blocks, see with clarity, and remember your true essence. Ceremonies are held in a safe, respectful way, honoring ancestral traditions and the wisdom of the plants. Each journey is unique, offering powerful insight, healing and connection.

Huachuma Retreat

August 3-9, 2025 Malacatos, Ecuador (7 Days)

Connect with the sacred medicine of Grandfather San Pedro in this beautiful and healing 7-day retreat. We will have 2 nighttime ceremonies and 1 daytime ceremony with San Pedro, alongside energetic cleansing rituals and baths, hikes to sacred mountains, rivers and a trip to the jungle to explore a national park and have a cleansing ritual in the waterfall. This was my first ceremony with Katie and with San Pedro. A beautiful and gentle experience that brought a clear message and confirmation, and a much needed release was facilitated through a cleansing. Katie created a warm a safe space for everyone - her energy is so bright and gentle. The ceremony was beautiful - from the fire to the music, and, of course, the medicine. My experience was gentle and I felt much lighter the next day. The group was small and felt very comfortable - beautiful, kind, caring and compassionate souls came together to heal. The setting and accomodations were great and we even had our very own frog symphony! I am hoping to do another ceremony soon and highly recommend Katie.

Location

We will be in a gorgeous house nestled in the southern Andes of Ecuador, known as the Sacred Valley, for the potent, healing energy of this area. 

The house has 4 spacious, modern rooms, and as we only accept 6 guests, maximum 2 rooms will be shared. The house has a gorgeous view of the mountains, a pool, steam room and jacuzzi, so we will have plenty of time to relax, physically detox, and integrate our experiences with the medicines.

We offer fresh, local, organic meals and can cater to your dietary needs. We mainly serve vegetarian foods but also offer fish and chicken, and always have an assortment of fruits to snack on, as well as herbal teas + cacao.
