Sacred Earth Healing Retreat | Wisconsin
Step away from the noise of daily life and return to a slower rhythm.
A weekend retreat of nature immersion, cleansing rituals, healing ceremonies by the fire, and nervous system healing inspired by traditional practices from Ecuador.
- September 11-13
Modern life moves quickly. Many people carry constant stress in their bodies—racing thoughts, tight shoulders, restless sleep, and a nervous system that rarely feels fully at ease. Even when we try to slow down, it can be difficult to truly reset.
These weekend retreats offers a space to step out of that rhythm and reconnect with a slower, more natural way of being.
Inspired by my years living and working in Ecuador alongside traditional healers, this retreat draws on the wisdom of earth-based healing practices that have been used for generations to restore balance to the mind, body, and spirit.
Over the course of the weekend, we will gather in nature to explore practices that calm the nervous system and support deep energetic cleansing. Through ritual, movement, meditation, and time outdoors, you will be guided through experiences designed to help release stress and reconnect with your natural state of clarity and grounding.
With a small group of just 5–6 participants, the retreat is designed to be deeply personal, supportive, and restorative.

"Never in my life have I felt so held in a ceremony than I did with Katie. Soo intuitive, so kind and caring, I truly felt like she was really actually blessing me with her words, actions, touch, and space holding. It was like a kind of mothering in a way that I’ve needed my entire life.
The songs, the changing up of instruments, the fire keeping; so so so beautiful. Forever grateful.
I deeply needed this.
And the scenery; the way Ecuador and all its animals hold you is nothing like I’ve ever experienced in my life. So beautiful so grateful🙏"

"Katie was incredibly hospitable, patient, attentive and kind. Im not sure I knew what “holding space” really looked like before her example. I am grateful for my time with her. Her expertise added value to my life. Her patience and complete lack of judgement was like nothing I had experienced in a very long time. I was not sure what to expect from a plant medicine retreat, but I am glad I participated and I hope to participate again one day, when the need comes. For now, I have a clearer path. Thank you Katie. Your work is important."

"Wow. Year after year I come back to work with Katie and Miguel for their sacred plant medicine retreats and ceremonies. Everytime I feel so taken care of, protected, and nurtured in their healing space. If you are considering experimenting with sacred plant medicines, feeling a deep sense of trust and guidance with your shamans, their traditions, and medicine is the foundation for the soul expanding connections and insights you will receive from a ceremony with Allpa Mama Healing. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world-- for holding healing space with respect, reverence, unity and unconditional Love."Â

Tobacco + Fire Ceremony
Cleansing, purification, and intention setting around the fire with Grandfather Tobacco, the most sacred of all medicines. We will take Tobacco by drinking it and "hape" or "shingar" which is either Tobacco powdered or in liquid form taken up the nose. These are traditional Ecuadorian practices very common in Amazonian and Andean healing ceremonies, used to cleanse mind, body and spirit, bring strength to the person, and connect with the spiritual world, and inner guidance. It is completely optional to take the Tobacco. You may also simply offer the Tobacco to the fire if you prefer not to ingest it. Tobacco is not psychoactive, but you might purge via vomit, crying, shaking, etc. You might feel nauseaus or uncomfortable during the process. It helps us to release heavy emotions, energies and pains we are carrying, and leave feeling clearer and lighter.Â

Your Facilitator
Katie has spent the past 7 years living in Ecuador, where she has studied alongside traditional healers and supported plant medicine ceremonies and retreats. Through this work she developed a deep connection to traditional cleansing rituals, prayer, and nature-based healing practices. She now shares these teachings through retreats and ceremonies that help people reconnect with themselves and restore balance in body, mind, and spirit.
